A couple of updates showing the fin / main hull updates on the Romulan interceptor. ATOLM was kind enough to provide some additional sketches he had of the ship when he was designing it. Look in the WIP section.

Another ATOLM design in the works. This is based of of a single top view drawing I came across in a concept 'dump' he did (seen on a couple pf sites). It is pretty straight forward and I will have to supply some of my own 'guess' work but that's the fn part. It is in the WIP section which has also been cleared of all dead and done projects. So, really, this one is all that is there now!

Okay, finally finished my Gorn attack cruiser. I did a simple render of it here.
Also, reaquainted myself with benefits and curses of monitor calibration. Many of the space scene backdrops on the site where done a long time ago and I looked at them with my fancy LCD monitor last night - wow do they suck. Since I have done little to update gallery entries I will have to look at fixing that soon(ish).

I have updated the links page. Added a few things (see the NEW). I also have removed deviantart. The site still exists but after my third virus attack from the site I have decided it is not worth it. Yes, I know, downloading stuff is 'at your own risk' but each virus was from the preview / description link.

So, the Sparta is done but I have not yet done any real 'shots' of it yet. Here is one, though, I have posted on a couple of boards that I belong to. Aft perspective. I also have a view from the front but does not really show the 4 nacelles well. 3/4 perspective.

Still another update on my Sparta build.The update has all the nacelles added and a front view with the deflector (ala 'Enterprise'). The light is low - single pass render to just get a sense of the illumination textures.

Another update on my Sparta build.This update shows the progress of textures applied (my cheat on modelling things in like portholes). I've got it about 80% done. Added a shuttle deck new warp plasma grill elements to the nacelles.

Back to work on my long suffering attempt at building the Sparta class ST:TMP era cruiser.The Sparta class was designed by Bernd Schneider of Ex Astris Scientia fame.

For fans of CG interiors you may like this well done animation. It's a walk through, of sorts, of the TOS enterprise with some interesting prop shots as well. Nice music from Disney's 'Black Hole' accompanies.

Fooling around with ideas on doing ships from my favorite 'classic' sci-fi shows. I created a Cavorite sphere from the classic 'First Men in the Moon'. Well. it's a classic for me. I've seen one other on the web which is really cool and is animated but I like mine as well.

All new - CGI Search! OK, no big deal I just created a custom Google search site that is only for 3D/2D related sites. Very much a work in progress so do not be disappointed if you get results for a few industry sites and such. I only index 70 of my favorite sites or sites that I trust. More to come.
